Taiabur Rahman, a professor at the University of Dhaka, has written a book of verses for the first time and published it in Ekushey book fair.
Pencil Publication published the book this year titled "Bhalobasha-Kokhono Rongdhonu Kokhono Gholokdanda" or "Love is sometimes a rainbow and sometimes a maze."
This book is available in the publications' stall number 300 at the book fair.
While the professor published his maiden verses book this year, his translated poetry book "Dohon, Droho O Dorson: Biswakhyato Kobider Nirbachito Shoto Kobita" was published earlier.
Pencil Publications printed the book twice to fulfill the readers' demand.
The professor’s passion for poetry, his experience of spending many years abroad, and the lack of translation of foreign poetry in Bengali inspired him to write poetry and translate poetry. After walking the rough and dry path of social science, he finds peace in poetry.
