Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists allegedly attacked and vandalised the Natore district BNP office at Alaipur in the town on Saturday morning.
BNP member secretary Rahim Newaj said some BCL men on motorbikes gathered in front of the party office, staged showdown and vandalized the party office ahead of their meeting.
Police went to the spot later and brought the situation under control.
Mortuza Bablu, joint general secretary of district Awami League denied the allegation and said it was an incident of BNP’s internal conflict.
