GM Quader withdraws candidacy from Dhaka-17

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman GM Quader has withdrawn his nomination for the Dhaka 17 constituency on Sunday.

JaPa’s office secretary MA Razzak Khan submitted the letter of withdrawal of the nomination paper on his behalf to the Dhaka Returning Officer's office Sunday afternoon.

GM Quader is also the Jatiya Party nominated candidate for Rangpur-3.

The Election Commission fixed Sunday as the deadline to withdraw nomination papers and electoral symbols will be distributed among the candidates on Monday.

The electioneering can be conducted from December 18 to 8am on January 05 (till 48 hours before the balloting).
