Mashrafe becomes AL's youth and sports secretary

Former Bangladesh cricket captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, the lawmaker from the Narail-2 constituency, has become the youth and sports secretary of Bangladesh Awami League.

The decision was made at the party Presidium meeting held at Ganabhaban in Dhaka on Monday night.

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader confirmed it after the meeting.

Mashrafe, popularly known as the 'Narail Express,' earned a landslide victory in his constituency during the 11th national election.
