Schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical education institutions across the country will remain closed for 7 days until April 27 (Saturday) due to the ongoing heatwave condition.

A notice signed by M A Khair, public relations officer of the Ministry of Education, officially confirmed the matter on Saturday.

The notice came before the reopening of educational institutions in the country set for Sunday (April 21st), after the end of the Eid holidays.

According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, the heat wave condition will remain unchanged for the five days commencing 9am on Saturday.
