After losing in the first of the five-match T20 international series against India despite Nigar Sultana Joty’s persistent 51, Bangladesh now eye to bounce back in the second match as they opt to bat first winning the toss at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

The visiting team's bowling section did an excellent job in the first game, and their camp was happy to see Renuka Singh return to her expected form. Renuka was named Player of the Match for her outstanding effort with the ball, collecting three wickets while giving over only 18 runs. The home team will once again rely on Rabeya and Marufa, who claimed three and two wickets, respectively, in the series' first game.

The pitch of Sylhet is known to favour the batters, so it might be another high-scoring match. the pitch is dry and will be favourable for the batters by the time while the pacers will have a hard time securing wickets on this pitch.

The neighbouring rivals have faced 18 times each other prior to this contest, where Bangladesh could manage only three victories to India’s 15.
