Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Monday predicted rains in eight divisions of the country in 24 hours.
"Rain or thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind, is likely at many places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna & Barishal divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places," read a Met office bulletin.
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Lightning strike kills man in Sylhet
A 45-year-old man was killed in a lightning strike while grazing cows at Lakshmipasha union of Kanaighat upazila in Sylhet on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Mahtab Uddin, resident of Bazar Darpanagar West (Karchati) village of the upazila.
Kanaighat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jahangir Hossain Sardar confirmed the death.
