Bangladeshi renowned artist and actor Golam Mustafa was commemorated with great reverence on his 90th birth anniversary. The "Golam Mustafa Memorial Award" has been an annual event for the past eight years, honouring his legacy and contributions to Bangladeshi arts.
Golam Mustafa, a prominent figure in the country's cultural arena, has been remembered through this tribute organised by "Tarunyer Ussash," since 2017 annually, acknowledging Golam Mustafa's significant role in the cultural landscape of Bangladesh.
On the occasion of his 90th birth anniversary, a special ceremony was held at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in Dhaka, where Nasir Uddin Yusuf Bachchu, a veteran freedom fighter and cultural personality, was awarded by Golam Mustafa's daughter and accomplished actress Suborna Mustafa.
The event was graced by cultural icons Ramendu Majumdar, Mamunur Rashid, recitation artist Jayanta Chattopadhyay, and actress Suborna Mustafa.
Nasir Uddin Yusuf Bachchu received the national flag, a certificate, books of poems, a tribute medal, and 10,000 taka.
The recitation performances were presented by Dhaka Swarakalpana, Shilpobritto, Bangla Amar, and Tarunyer Ussash.
