Sonali Bank PLC was awarded for securing the top position among all the government banks in implementing the Annual Performance Agreement (APA) in 2022-23 at the conference room of the Financial Institutions Division (FID) on Thursday.
This award was given among the state-owned commercial banks of the Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance, according to a press release.
Sonali Bank scored 98.45 out of 100, becoming No 1 among the state-run banks.
This was announced at the signing ceremony of Annual Performance Agreements for fiscal year 2024-25 between Sonali Bank and the Financial Institutions Division, added the release.
Among others, additional secretaries of the Financial Institution Division, and executives of different banks and financial institutions were present on the occasion.
Additionally, Sonali Bank was also awarded for securing the top position among all the government banks in implementing the annual performance agreement in the fiscal years 2020-21, and 2021-22.
