The 39th Annual General Meeting of National Life Insurance Company was held on Sunday via a virtual platform.
The meeting was chaired by the company's Chairman Morshed Alam, according to a press release issued on Monday.
The meeting was attended by Directors Matiur Rahman, Md Shahidul Islam Chowdhury, Bilkis Nahar, ASM Main Uddin Monem, Shamim Khan, Syed Minhaj Ahmed, Zakir Ahmed Khan, Das Deb Prasad, sponsor shareholder Shafiqul Rahman Titu and Md Imrul Alam, the company's Chief Executive Officer Md Kazim Uddin, Additional Managing Director Md Khasru Chowdhury, Deputy MD and CFO Probir Chandra Das FCA, and Company Secretary Abdul Wahab Miah participated virtually.
A large number of shareholders attended the meeting. Shareholders expressed their gratitude to the Board of Directors for the current progress and success of the company.
The shareholders also unanimously approved the balance sheet for the year 2023 and a 38 per cent cash dividend for each share valued at Tk 10.
Chairman Morshed Alam thanked the connected shareholders, directors and sponsors and expressed hope for the continued progress of the company in the future.
