SJIB relocates Dinajpur Branch to new address

In order to provide better services to the clients the Dinajpur Branch of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC has started banking activities from Sunday at a new address — Captain Tower & Shopping Complex in the Gonesh Tola area at Kotoali.

The bank’s Managing Director Mosleh Uddin Ahmed formally inaugurated the relocated branch as the chief guest at an event on Sunday, according to a press release.

SJIB Additional Managing Director and COO M Akhter Hossain was present as a special guest at the programme which he also addressed. The bank’s Dinajpur Branch Manager Chowdhury Md Shahidullah presided over the opening ceremony.

Among others, Proprietor of M/S Shah Enterprise Shah Md Mominul Islam, Director of Dinajpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Syed Sagir Ahmed and Proprietor of Monsafe Auto Rice Mill Sajjad Hossain also delivered speeches as special invited guests on the occasion.

There were a number of customers and well-wishers also present in this ceremony, which included recitations from the Quran, Milad Mahfil and Doa, at the branch premises. Public Relations Department In-charge (CC) KM Harunur Rashid moderated the programme.

In his speech, Managing Director Mosleh Uddin said, “We have relocated this branch to a more spacious location for providing better services to our clients. We hope our customers will get more services from now.

“The branch started its’ journey on December 14, 2010, and contributed to the overall development of this area including agriculture, industry, trade and infrastructure. We also hope that in the near future, Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC will play a more inventive role in the expansion of trade, commerce and industry in this area.”

Addressing the audience, Akhter Hossain said, “We have opened this branch in your area to provide banking services to you. Our officers are always ready to provide with all kinds of banking services. We wish for your cooperation so that we can contribute more to the overall development of this area.”
