The Secretariat is grappling with insecurity due to ongoing movements inside and outside the heart of Bangladesh’s administration. This matter is scheduled to be discussed in an advisory council meeting on Thursday.

According to Cabinet Division sources, the second Cabinet meeting of interim government Advisory Council will be held at the state guest house Jamuna. Security issues centring secretariat will be discussed at this meeting.

Within a week of taking charge of the interim government – under the leadership of Nobel laureate economist Dr Muhammad Yunus – the capital city of Dhaka started heating up yet again as protesters began pressing home various demands.
