On Saturday, a significant fundraising charity concert titled “GORJON” will take place, aimed at uniting the community in support of Bangladesh’s recent challenges.

Organised by Liber8, the event will serve as both a commemoration of the country's unity and a direct effort to aid communities affected by devastating floods and injured individuals during the student protests.

The concert will be held at the Uttara Friends Club Field at Sector-3 from 12 pm to 10 pm. “GORJON” is more than just a musical event; it represents a day-long celebration of music, community and a shared commitment to a brighter future. All proceeds from the event will be donated to support the affected communities.

One of the organisers, Sadman Shahid said, "Our mission is to unite people from all walks of life for a greater purpose—supporting those affected by recent floods and the victims of the student protest. Through compassionate humanitarian work and raising charity, we aim to strengthen bonds, inspire collective action, and build a brighter, more inclusive future together."

The concert will start at 3 pm and will showcase live performances by some of Bangladesh’s most beloved artists and bands, including Shironamhin, Avoid Rafa, Owned, Dads in the Park, A.K. Rahul, Wrong Side, Rodoshi, Kaktaal, and Nivaniya. The line-up promises a diverse range of music, appealing to a wide audience.

In addition to the main concert, GORJON will feature unplugged sessions, offering a platform for emerging talents to perform in more intimate settings. Attendees interested in these sessions can apply in advance to secure their spot.

A DIY Art Event will also run throughout the day, encouraging participants to express their creativity and contribute to a collective artwork that symbolises Bangladesh's resilience and rebirth. This interactive art experience is open to all, fostering community collaboration and self-expression.

As Bangladesh marks this important milestone, GORJON sends a strong message to the world: the nation stands united, resilient and committed to building a future filled with hope, peace, and prosperity.
