BGB hands over aid to student coordinators for flood victims

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) handed over the necessary relief materials to the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement to distribute among 500 families in support of the flood victims.

On behalf of the BGB Director General (DG) Major General Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui BGB headquarters director Lt Colonel Mir Monoyar Ali handed over the relief materials to the student coordinators at Dhaka University on Friday afternoon.

Lt Colonel Mir Monoyar Ali said that the BGB DG welcomed the great initiative of the student coordinators and expressed his solidarity with them and his firm belief to stand by the students in such great work in the future.

The BGB, however, said that rescue operations, distribution of relief materials and distribution of free medical services and medicines are being carried out by the initiative of various regions, sectors and battalions of BGB.
