CAAB chairman visits HSIA Terminal 3

Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) Chairman Air Vice Marshal Md Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan on Saturday visited the Terminal 3 of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

He inspected the newly built check-in counter, immigration, scanner, boarding bridge, arrival, departure, and aircraft parking apron and road network at the 3rd terminal and other facilities constructed under this project.

The CAAB chairman discussed the progress of terminal construction, quality of work and timely completion with officers and employees concerned, adding that 98 per cent of the work has already been completed.

He pointed out that the terminal has special importance as a gateway for economic growth of the country and global communication.

The CAAB chairman then emphasised on completing the remaining work of the 3rd terminal as soon as possible. Besides, he expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the overall work, and thanked all those involved in the project.

Foreign delegations involved in the Terminal 3 work, CAAB members (Management and Planning), members (Administration), members (Finance), members (Flight Standards and Regulations), members (Safety), chief engineer, 3rd terminal project director, HSIA executive director and the officials and employees of various departments of CAAB were present there.
