A segment of protesting Ansar personnel entered the secretariat around 1:20pm on Sunday.

They entered the Secretariat through Gate Number 3, ignoring the law enforcement forces guarding the area, after holding protests in front of the Secretariat since 12pm demanding nationalisation of their jobs.

The law enforcers quickly managed to close the gate after more than fifty Ansar personnel poured in. Many were seen peacefully taking up positions near gate number 3, chanting slogans.
The protesters demanded that either nationalise the Ansar jobs, or kill them.

The Ansars have been protesting for the last two days demanding nationalisation of their jobs. They claim that they have been discriminated against for a long time, and their jobs have not been nationalised despite multiple assurances.

The protesting Ansars have also announced that they will not allow anyone to leave the secretariat and will not allow anyone to enter until their demands are met.

Many people are in trouble as all the gates of the secretariat are now closed. Many visitors including officials were seen standing in front of the gates inside the secretariat without being able to get out.
