Employees of Beximco Pharma have donated Tk 1 crore, equivalent to their one day's salary, to Chief Adviser's Relief Fund and Army Relief Fund for providing essential relief and support to the flood victims across the nation.
The company also provided large quantities of relief goods and medicines, along with supporting rescue operations and deploying its own medical team in the flood affected districts.
In addition, it has contributed cash and medical supplies to several industry associations and humanitarian organizations in response to their request, read a press release.
Bangladesh has been grappling with devastating floods that have affected more than 5 million people across eleven districts. Beximco Pharma, being a socially responsible organization, has always extended its support in times of any national emergency.
