Jatiya Party Chairman Golam Mohammad Quader (GM Quader) on Monday said the United Kingdom (UK) is Bangladesh's tested friend.
“The UK will stay beside Bangladesh like the previous time … The UK is our tested friend,” said Quader when he made a courtesy call on British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Sarah Cooke at her Baridhara residence this morning, a JP press release said.
The JP leader and the envoy also discussed Bangladesh's political situation during the meeting.
Before the meeting, Sarah Cooke welcomed the JP Chairman when he reached the envoy’s Baridhara residence.
