Stop use of plastic water bottles in meetings, daily activities 

Adviser to the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan on Thursday directed the authorities concerned to stop the use of single-use plastic water bottles in meetings, seminars, workshops and others daily activities.

He also made another directive to formulate or update recruitment and promotion policies in all organisations and companies under the ministry and departments and sending those to respective ministries/divisions after getting approval from the concerned board, reports BSS.

The directives were given through an office order issued on Thursday from the office of the adviser, reports BSS.

The handout said that all these directives will be applicable in ministries, departments and all offices/organisations and companies under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges and Ministry of Railways.
