The much-anticipated "Legends of the Decade" concert featuring Pakistan's iconic pop-rock band Jal and Bangladeshi bands Aurthohin, Vikings, and Conclusion took place on Saturday at the North Center Court of Jamuna Future Park in the capital.
The night was a celebration of rock music, marking the 20th anniversary of Jal's debut album "Adat", and the gathering of legends. After exactly a decade, Pakistan’s iconic pop-rock band Jal mesmerised the music lovers in Bangladesh as the headliner of the ‘Legends of the Decade’ concert.
The audience fell in love with the melody of Goher Mumtaz. Audiences sang together in the songs “O Lamhe”, “Laiya Laiya”, “Sajni”, “Paanchi”, “Bhanware”. Some of these were mashups. Apart from this, the band also performed a new song for the first time to the audience of Dhaka. They also showed surprise in the instrumental performance.
The concert was supposed to hold at the Dhaka Arena in Purbachal motorway on September 27, which was postponed due to heavy rain.
