AL’s election camp vandalised in Lalmonirhat

Miscreants vandalised an election camp of the Awami League at Nayahat in Sadar upazila of Lalmonirhat district on Tuesday night.

Shah Alam, officer-in-charge of Sadar police station, said some unidentified miscreants swooped on the election camp of AL backed mayoral candidate Mofazzal Hossain and vandalized its furniture around 10:30 pm.

Later, they also set the camp on fire.

Local people extinguished the blaze and police brought the situation under control.
