Shakib Khan inoculated with COVID-19 vaccine

Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan has received his first shot of COVID-19 vaccine on the first day of the nationwide lockdown starting from Monday in the wake of a second wave of coronavirus pandemic.

The actor took to his Instagram handle to share a photo of him being vaccinated.

“Alhamdulillah. Received the Covid-19 (coronavirus) vaccine!!,” he captioned.

In the photo, he can be seen getting jabbed by a female health worker.

On the workfront, Shakib Khan is currently shooting for Wazed Ali Sumon directorial Antoratma where the actor is collaborating with Tollywood actor Darshana Banik for the first time.

A number of Dhallywood actors earlier received their jabs against coronavirus after Bangladesh kicked off its mass vaccination drive in February with the Oxford University-AstraZeneca vaccine manufactured in Serum Institute of India (SII).
