Huawei’s net profit 3.8pc up in Q1

Huawei announced that its first quarterly net profit margin of this year went up by 3.8 percentage points year-on-year.

The company also earned a patent royalty income of approximately Tk 5,087 crore, says a press release.

“Year 2021 will be another challenging year for us, but it's also the year that our future development strategy will begin to take shape," said Eric Xu, Huawei's Rotating Chairman.

“As always, we remain committed to technological innovation and investing heavily in Research and Development as we work to address supply continuity challenges caused by restrictions," stressed Xu.
