DSE turnover hits three-month high

Daily turnover at the country’s premier bourse – Dhaka Stock Exchange – stood at Tk 1,406 crore, the highest in the last three months, on Monday.

As per the DSE data, on January 24, 2021, the single-day turnover at the premier bourse stood at Tk1,585 crore.

Meanwhile, DSEX, the benchmark index of the DSE crossed the 5,500 mark on Monday after one month and a half.  

As of Monday, the DSEX, benchmark index of the DSE, went up 37.40 points, or 0.68 per cent, to 5,517 points.

On March 16, DSEX was 5,516 points.
