5m Banglalink subscribers to get free data, talk-time

Mobile operator Banglalink has brought special voice call and data offers for its 5 million subscribers who could not recharge their mobile accounts due to recent movement restrictions and financial issues caused by the ongoing pandemic.

The mobile operator in a press release on Wednesday said subscribers who were unable to use their SIM cards since April 15 this year because of not recharging their accounts can receive 10 minutes of talk-time and 100 MB data for free. They have to dial *888# to avail of the offer, which will be valid for seven days. The offer can be availed till May 31. 

Saurabh Prakash Khare, Banglalink’s Marketing Director, said, "Because of the recharging issues faced by some of our subscribers amid the countrywide restrictions, we have decided to introduce this special offer. "
