First year NU students to get auto promotion

The National University has decided to "auto promote" first year students of 2019-2020 academic year, subject to conditions.

Once the situation of the pandemic returns to normal, students must appear for the first year written examination, said a press release issued by the university on Wednesday.

Anyone failing to do so, the promotion will be deemed cancelled for that student, the release said.

‎3,73,876 students were enrolled in the academic year of 2019-2020 — of these students, 316,676 students will get promotion in the second year. the release added.
