Nancy’s four new songs

Singer Nazmun Munira Nancy is gearing up to treat her fans with a brand-new single ‘Baba Tomay Mone Pore’ marking Father’s Day to be celebrated on Sunday, June 20.

Ahmed Risvy has written the tribute number with tune and music arranged by singer-composer Kishore Das, which will be released from CD Choice. Nancy will give fans a sneak peek of herself in the music video directed by Saikat Reza that features Sujon Habib, Nairuz Sifat and Arya Arittra, the singer told The Business Post on Friday.

Nancy recently lent voice to three other songs titled—‘Rakhi Jotne Sharadin’, ‘Bashi Ar Daskish Na’ and ‘Gaaner Shurey Tomay Daki’. In ‘Bashi Ar Dakish Na’, she teamed up with Anupam Biswas for words, Ehsan Rahi for tune and Shaker Raza for music composition. Release date and recording label of the song haven’t been disclosed yet.

Samarjit Roy has sung with Nancy in ‘Rakhi Jotne Sharadin’- a playback track of Wajed Ali Sumon directorial ‘Antoratma’ featuring superstar Shakib Khan and Tollywood’s Darshana Banik. With this romantic number, Nancy has once again sung for a Shakib Khan starrer in five years after ‘Bossgiri’ (2016).

‘Rakhi Jotne Sharadin’ has its lyrics penned by Ritam Sen and tune and music done by award winning composer Indraadip Dasgupta from India.

Nancy voiced her another single ‘Gaaner Shurey Tomay Daki’ with lyrics written by Shahidur Rahman and music composed by AR Sarwar at Studio Rain last week. Its release date hasn’t been announced yet.
