Parachute donates Tk 3.20 lakh for educating underprivileged girls

With an aim to empower young women and build a better Bangladesh, Marico Bangladesh Limited has raised and donated Tk 3,20,000 to charitable organisation, Amal Foundation.

The fund was raised under a special campaign by Parachute Advansed Beliphool, a product by Marico Bangladesh, to create awareness among people and educating underprivileged girls.

Nasir Ahmed, operations manager of Amal Foundation and Jarin Salsabil Progga, creative designer at the foundation, accepted the cheque from Jannatul Ferdous Oishee, the brand ambassador of Parachute Advansed Beliphool recently, said a press release.

“One of our main goals is to make Bangladesh a healthy and happy place for all the underprivileged women and children and this special initiative by Parachute Advanced Beliphool has greatly helped us in our mission”, said Esrat Karim Eve, director and founder of Amal Foundation.

Ashish Goupal, managing director of Marico Bangladesh Limited said, “This initiative was taken with the purpose of raising awareness and to help girls dream without inhibitions as well as to assist them in the preparation of their perfect future. As a responsible brand, Parachute Advansed Beliphool will continue the drive of empowering girls for building a better Bangladesh.”
