Unfinished examinations of BRUR from July 4 online

The unfinished undergraduate and postgraduate level examinations of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur will be held online from July 4 this year.

“The decision was taken at a meeting of the Deans’ Committee held at the conference room of the university today with Vice-chancellor Professor Dr Md Hasibur Rashid in the chair,” a press release said here this evening.

The meeting was told that the undergraduate and postgraduate examinations of different departments of the university were started and later postponed in February this year due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

Only those unfinished exams will be held online from July 4 next.

Vice-chancellor of BRUR Professor Dr Md Hasibur Rashid said, as per the decision of the syndicate, all of the postponed undergraduate and postgraduate level examinations will be held from July 4 to July 14 next.

“From the first week of August next, regular examinations for all semesters of all departments of the university will be held online,” he added.

Dean of the Faculty of Arts Professor Dr Sarifa Salowa Dina, Dean of the Faculty of Science Professor Dr RM Hafizur Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Dr Md Mizanur Rahman and Dean of the Faculty of Life and Earth Science Md Atiur Rahman were present at the Dean's Committee meeting.
