StanChart clients to get insurance services from Guardian Life

Standard Chartered Bank and Guardian Life Insurance Ltd have joined hands to provide insurance services for the bank’s clients.

Under the agreement, clients of Standard Chartered Bank will have the option to opt-in for insurance facilities provided by Guardian Life, said a press release on Saturday.

Guardian Life EVP & Head of Bancassurance Ahmed Istiaque Mahmud and Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh Head of Wealth Management & CMPS Miah Mohammad Rabiul Hasan signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies.

The signing ceremony was held at Guardian Life’s Head Office in Gulshan in Dhaka.

Guardian Life insurance Limited Chief Executive Officer Shiekh Rakibul Karim (FCA) and Standard Chartered Bank Executive Director & Head of Retail Distribution Lutful Habib, along with senior officials from both sides, were also present at the signing ceremony
