Actress Zahrat Ara, who acted in the first ever Bengali language feature film ‘Mukh O Mukhosh’, has passed away. She was in her late 80s.
She breathed her last at a care home in London of the United Kingdom on July 19.
She had been suffered from various old-age complications for a prolonged period.
Born in Dhaka, Zahrat Ara was active as a voice and theatre actress in the 50s.
Directed by Abdul Jabbar Khan, ‘Mukh O Mukhosh’ was released on August 3, 1956.
