7 bands to perform in Eid special music shows on BTV

Live music shows are a huge part of Eid celebration programme. This Eid BTV has brought a total of 15 popular bands for their three musical shows ‘Rock Carnival’, ‘Haste Dekho Gaite Dekho’ and ‘Eid-er Band Sangeet’.

On the first day of Eid-ul-Azha, the state-owned television channel aired the ‘Rock Carnival’ which had performances by a total of eight renowned bands-- Chirkutt, Arbovirus, Black, Nova, Mechanics, Indalo, Pentagon and Trainwreck.

In ‘Haste Dekho Gaite Dekho’, band Symphony will be seen performing two tracks ‘Valo Achi Valo Theko’ and ‘Ami Ashi Bole Tumi’ while ‘Nijhum Raate Eshore Bandhu’ and ‘Shadhinota Tomake Niye’ will be performed by the pop-rock band Parthibo. All-female ethnic community band F Minor will sing ‘Nishi Raate Jonglaful’ and

‘Mone Kori Assam Jabo’ while ‘Shohortolir Akash’ and ‘Haste Dekho Gaite Dekho’ will be sung by the band Shohortoli.

Produced by Lutfar Rahman Robin and presented by Neel Hure Jahan, ‘Haste Dekho Gaite Dekho’ will be aired on the 4th day of Eid, at 5:10pm.

The other show ‘Eid-er Band Sangeet’ features three bands-- Kishore & Friends, Northern Star and Reshmi O Mati.

Kishore & Friends will be found performing ‘Keno Tumi Bojhona’, ‘Akash Batash Sakkhi Rekhe’ and ‘Fire Ashona’ while the songs ‘Payer Mol Shona Jay’, ‘Keno Jani Bare Bare’ and ‘Rang Changa Ei Shohortay’ will be sung by Northern Star. Reshmi O Mati will sing the popular song ‘Tomra Dekhogo Ashiya’.

‘Eid-er Band Sangeet’ will be aired on the 6th day of Eid, at 8:45 pm.
