Taapsee Pannu goes sightless in ‘Blurr’, her debut production venture. The film is touted to be a suspense thriller about twin sisters adapted from director Guillem Morales’ Spanish film Julia’s Eyes, a taut and clenched 2010 thriller, reports Bollywood Hungama.
Talking about the original movie, ‘Julia’s Eyes’ is the story of a woman who is slowly losing her sight whilst trying to investigate the mysterious death of her twin sister.
This is the first double role for Taapsee. But not her first Spanish remake. Taapsee played the lead in Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Badlaa’ -- a remake of the Spanish film ‘The Invisible Guest’ directed by Oriol Paulo.
With her first venture as a producer, under her banner ‘Outsiders Films’, Taapsee is ready to take this risk of featuring herself in a double role for the first time.
This upcoming movie ‘Blurr’ is directed by Ajay Bahl whose previous film was the critically acclaimed film ‘Article 375’. Alongside Taapsee Pannu, Gulshan Devaiah will be seen playing the leading man in the upcoming movie. “I am excited to be doing this film. And happy to be working in these difficult times,” said Gulshan as reported by Bollywood Hungama.
Taapsee shared the first poster
of ‘Blurr’ and announced the film on July 15.
