Sushant Singh Rajput commits suicide: Reports

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his home in Mumbai, as per several local media reports. He was 34.

Police have informed that the actor hung himself in his Bandra home.

According to the reports, the actor wasn't feeling well for a few days. He was living alone during the lockdown.

The post-mortem reports are awaited.

Sushant’s death comes just barely a week after his former manager Disha Salian reportedly committed suicide last Monday by jumping off the 14th floor of her apartment in Mumbai.

“It’s such devastating news. My deepest condolences to Disha's family and friends. May your soul rest in peace,” Sushant had said back then.

Sushant Singh Rajput began his career with the Television show Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil and rose to fame with another one -- Pavitra Rishta. His debut in Bollywood was with the film Kai Po Che!, based on Chetan Bhagat's bestselling book The Three Mistakes of My Life.

The actor was last seen in Chhichhore.
