The supreme leader of worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Mirza Masroor Ahmad, has called on the world leaders to stop persecuting and oppressing Muslims around the globe.
Highlighting the issue of protecting the rights of all sections of the society in the light of the Quran, he asked all to spread the unique teachings of Islam in response to the objections of anti-Muslims and anti-religionists.
Mirza Masroor came up with the remarks in his concluding speech at the annual convention of Ahmadiyya Muslim Association, UK on August 7, said a press release. The convention began on August 5.
Various speakers at the event spoke about the dignity of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) in the eyes of non-Muslims, freedom of speech and its limitations in the eyes of Islam, the welfare of the Ahmadiyya Jama'at and our responsibilities, the superiority of the teachings of the Holy Qur'an, the unique image of God, Islamic World and The Ahmadiyya Caliphate.
Ahmadis from more than two hundred countries around the world virtually participated in the convention.
