Prof Satya Prasad Majumder new VC of BUET

Professor Dr Satya Prasad Majumder has been appointed as the vice-chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).

He is a professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the university.

Dr Satya Prasad Majumder joined BUET in the year 1981. Since then, he served in several positions at the EEE department, faculty and also at the university levels.

The professor was also the chairperson of the EEE department from June 2006 to May 2008.
