bKash organises workshop to prevent MFS abuse in Ctg

Mobile financial service provider bKash has recently organised a workshop for the law enforcement officers of Chattogram to create awareness to prevent abuses in Mobile Financial Services (MFS).

bKash conducted the workshop as part of its nationwide awareness campaign to ensure proper usage of the MFS, prevent criminal activities in the financial sector and minimise the overall abuse in the MFS industry, said a press release on Monday.

The workshop discussed the types of crimes committed abusing the MFS, the importance of information exchange related to the investigation to apprehend criminals and various steps taken by bKash to prevent the abuse of the MFS platform. 

The workshop also emphasised maintaining full compliance through creating awareness to prevent financial crimes, the release read.

bKash, with the co-operation of Chattogram Metropolitan Police, organised the workshop which was attended by 250 investigating officers of CMP and bKash officers at Dampara Police Lines in the city.

CMP Commissioner Saleh Mohammad Tanvir was present as the chief guest at the workshop.

AKM Monirul Karim, EVP and Head of External Affairs of bKash, was also present at the event.
