Fahmida Nabi lends voice to new song

Seasoned singer Fahmida Nabi has recently lent her voice to a new song titled ‘Tomar Du’chokh Cheye’. Written and tuned by Rajib Bhowmik, the music composition of the song is done by Tanim Ahmed.

“The song has an ambience of the 80s films. I really liked everything about it--the lyric, tune and music composition. I hope that the audience will also like the song and its music video,” Fahmida Nabid told The Business Post about her new song.

The recording of the song has already been completed recently. A music video for the song will be made soon for releasing on a YouTube channel, the National Film Award-winning singer informed.

Meanwhile, Fahmida Nabi performed at the musical show titled ‘Piano Lounge’ on Channel i recently. The singer has been garnering positive responses from the audience since the episode featuring her performance aired on September 9. The episode is also available on the YouTube channel of Channel i.

Fahmida Nabi released yet another song titled ‘Amar Here Jaoar Golpo’ early this year. Professor Sabrina Sultana Chowdhury wrote the song while Sudipta Shahin was behind the tune and music composition.

On the other hand, Fahmida Nabi is also spending time after her YouTube channel as she has some special plans surrounding it, the singer informed.

The singer performed in a stage show at Le Meridien Hotel in the capital on September 10.

Beginning her music career in 1979, the singer of popular song ‘Lukochuri Lukochuri Golpo’ made her debut in playback with the film ‘Durdesh’. She won the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for her performance in the film ‘Aha!’.
