IDLC receives highest taxpayers’ recognition

IDLC Finance Limited, country’s largest financial institution, has earned the first position in the non-banking financial institution category by providing the highest amount of revenue in the 2020-2021 fiscal year.

The Large Taxpayer Unit (LTU) of National Board of Revenue (NBR) organised a function to honour the top taxpayers on the occasion of achieving the set revenue collection target (Tk 24,000 crore) for the 2020-21 fiscal year, said a press release on Tuesday.

Bangladesh Bank Governor Fazle Kabir, the chief guest of the occasion, handed over a memento of honour to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IDLC Finance,
M Jamal Uddin, for providing the maximum amount of revenue to
the government in this category, said the release.
