Chanchal in new Hoichoi series ‘Boli’

National Film Award-winning actor Chanchal Chowdhury has recently signed up for another Hoichoi original web series titled ‘Boli’. The Actor has confirmed the news on his verified Facebook page on Tuesday. The shooting of this web series started yesterday in Kuakata.

Better known as a television commercial-maker, Shankha Dasgupta is directing the web series.

Praising the director, Chanchal wrote on Facebook, ‘Shankha Dasgupta is a talented director. I met him two or three years ago. We gradually became cordial and intimate. He has started making new web series ‘Boli’ for Hoichoi. We all are now in Kuakata to make this story of a different taste. This is my first work with Shankha. Everyone of ‘Boli’ team are optimistic about presenting you with a wonderful web series.”

Chanchal started his journey with the Hoichoi streaming platform through the web series ‘Taqdeer’ in December last year. The series received a massive response from the audience.

In ‘Taqdeer’, actor Chanchal Chowdhury plays the role of a driver who gets involved in a murder investigation after discovering a dead body in the freezer of his van. Syed Ahmed Shawki and Saleh Sobhan Auneem made the web series.

Chanchal Chowdhury was last seen in the web series titled ‘Unoloukik’ on local OTT platform Chorki. He plays the character of a psychologist in the episode titled ‘Ms. Prohelika’ opposite to Nusrat Imroz Tisha. Another web film titled ‘Munshigiri’ directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury is also awaiting its release on Chorki.
