BSEC to hire int'l consultants for online infrastructure

Shibli Rubayat Ul Islam, chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, said international consultants would soon be appointed for the BSEC's IT access infrastructure in all areas.

This will be done with special emphasis on IT platforms.

To this end, credit rating companies and custodians have been added to the online platform of BSEC, the regulator of the capital market. As a result, the two BSEC partners will be able to submit their monthly and quarterly reports online from July.

This information has been revealed in a press release signed by the Executive Director and Spokesperson of BSEC Md Saifur Rahman.

This platform was developed by BSEC without any outside help. Users will be able to submit reports at any time of the day or night within the reporting period.

On the other hand, BSEC will be able to analyze these submitted reports individually and collectively.

It is learned that a system-generated receipt can be obtained by submitting a report on this platform.

In addition, users will receive reports that have already been submitted to their dashboard. The current report submitted within the 10th of every month can also be amended.

Launched in July 2019, the platform has long been used by institutional brokers, merchant banks and asset management companies to submit their monthly reports.
