DSE seeks information from Crest Securities investors

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has sought information from the people who invested in the stock market through Crest Securities, an intermediary in the sale and purchase of shares and units.

A number of investors have their shares and money stuck as the brokerage house is closed. Investors have been asked to provide information as part of the process of returning the money and shares.

Crest Securities is now closed, according to a statement from the DSE to investors on Thursday. For this, the legitimate investors of the brokerage house have been asked to apply to the Chief Regulatory Officer (CRO) of DSE in the prescribed form to get their shares and money back.

In addition, they have been asked to contact the telephone number 02-9564601 for information and assistance.

The DSE has also launched a hotline, 01713276416, in this regard. This hotline can be contacted for information and assistance. Investors can also contact through the email [email protected].

The owner and managing director of Crest Securities Shahid Ullah, and the employees as well, disappeared recently locking the office, leaving investors in confusion. People who have invested in the stock market through the brokerage house have been suffering due to this incident.
