Norway wants to contribute in digital telecom development of Bangladesh

Norway Ambassador to Bangladesh Sidsel Blaken on Thursday insisted on contributing in the development of the country’s digital telecom sector to boost its success.

The ambassador came up with the interest at a meeting with Mustafa Jabbar, Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister.

The Norwegian diplomat applauded Bangladesh’s advancement in digital technology and said the bilateral relation between Norway and Bangladesh is very strong.

They also discussed uninterrupted digital telecom service, expanding 5G technology, Bangabandhu satellite-2 launching programme, expanding digital service at remote areas and implementing digital technology in post Covid-19 world.
