Bangladesh archer Ruman Shana crashed out of the first round of the World Archery Championship in South Dakota whereas Mohammad Hakim Ahmed Rubel managed to reach the round of 32 with two wins.

Another archer from Bangladesh, Ram Krishna Saha, managed to win his first match but could not go any further.

Ruman, after qualifying as the 46th pick, lost his match to Italian Federico Musolesi by 6-0 sets to crash out of the very first round.

But Rubel managed to beat Czech Republic’s Michat Htarrutek in his first match by 6-4 sets before beating Chile’s Ricardo Soto by 7-3 sets in the next round.

But his run ended as he was beaten by Netherlands’ Steve Wiljer 6-4 in the round of 32.

Ram, on the other hand, beat Portuguese Luis Goncalves 6-2 to reach the round of 48 but in that round, he lost 4-6 to Mexico’s Luis Alvarez.
