The Westin Dhaka wins Haute Grandeur Global Award

The Westin Dhaka, a five-star hotel in Bangladesh, has won the 2021 Haute Grandeur Excellence Global Awards, says a press release.

The award has been given to the hotel for Best Hotel Service in Asia, Best Business Hotel in Bangladesh, Best City Hotel in Bangladesh and Best Culinary Experience in Bangladesh.

At the same time, its Seasonal Tastes restaurant won the award for Best Wedding Cuisine on a Global level, Best Asian Cuisine in Bangladesh, Best Hotel Restaurant in Bangladesh, Best International Cuisine in Bangladesh, and Best Luxury Family Restaurant in Bangladesh.

It is the tallest hotel in Bangladesh, and one of the tallest hotels in South Asia. Its construction was completed in 2006. The hotel has five restaurants and 235 rooms. Unique Hotel and Resorts Limited is the owner of The Westin Dhaka and the pioneer of establishing Five Star hotel in private sector.

It got the certificate of commencement of business under the brand name “The Westin Dhaka” on July 01, 2007.

Its hotel business has been carried out through a management contract with Westin Asia Management Co., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.
