The authorities of Denim Processing Plant Ltd on Thursday allegedly assaulted two journalists for reporting the rape of a garment worker at Belasahar area of Chandina upazila in Cumilla.

The journalists were identified as Md Abdul Baten and Md Jakir Hossain, local correspondents of Daily Jugantor and Jaijaidin.
