HSBC Bangladesh celebrates Customer Service Week

The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited Bangladesh has recently celebrated the International Customer Service Week (ICSW) 2021.

Focusing on the global theme ‘The Power of Service’, different functions were organised for customers and employees at HSBC branches and also in the digital platforms, the banks said in a press release on Sunday.

Marking the occasion, the bank recognised and appreciated the strong support, partnership and contribution of its customers and clients.

The customer service week is celebrated annually in October. The occasion was celebrated this year from October 4 to 8.

According to the release, the HSBC organised a webinar on ‘The Power of Service’ in participation of industry leaders, HSBC senior officials, and customers.

Mohammad Faizur Rahman, managing director and chief executive officer of United Hospitals Limited, and Khondoker Andalib Hasan, operations director of Foodpanda Bangladesh, also spoke on the occasion. 

They briefed the participants how they have been coping with customer needs in this Covid-19 era and how digitalisation in customer service can bring the ultimate positive difference in customers’ lives.

HSBC Chief Executive Officer Md Mahbub ur Rahman said, “Our customers are at the center of everything that we do. We take this as our utmost privilege to be of service to them.”
