Promising rock band ‘Adverb’ is gearing up to release the fourth song from their upcoming album ‘Purbapor’ on October 29.

Titled ‘Zekhanei Zacchi Theme’, the song is eight minutes in length, which will be released on YouTube, Facebook and various digital platforms.

Meanwhile, ‘Adverb’ dropped the trailer for the new song on YouTube. “We are going to release the track with an outstanding music video on 29th October! Need your prayer and support for the upcoming track. Get Ready To Roar!” they wrote on Facebook.

Talking to The Business Post on Friday, the bands vocalist and one of the founding members, Pranto said, “‘Zekhanei Zacchi Theme’ can be called a coming-of-age track for its lyrics, music and the whole arrangement. The song is of rock genre designed with the traditional style of band music in our country, unlike our first three songs.” he said.

“Our first song was of rock-melody genre. The second one was an alternative-rock track while the latter one falls under pure rock genre,” added Pranto.

He informed that the music video for ‘Zekhanei Zacchi Theme’ was shot in Narsingdi in a span of two days, under the direction of Jakaria Hasan. “The music video has a drama part and all of our band members are featured in it,” he added.

Officially incepted in 2014, Adverb already secured a fanbase with the release of their first three songs from the debut album ‘Purbapor’. The first song titled ‘Koto Dur’ was released in 2019 which received a positive response from the audience. Later, they came up with the songs ‘Oboshad’ and ‘Ke Tomake Bashbe Bhalo’.

Pranto further said that they have a plan to release the album ‘Purbapor’ in both digital and physical versions. “It will have a total of 10 official songs which are already finished. We are releasing the songs one after another for now,” he informed.

“It feels good that people are hearing us. It needs a long time to reach the mass audience. We have to make more and more music to win the heart of the people. Still a long way to go,” he added.

‘Adverb’ mostly performs alternative rock music and also try their hands on experimental rock.

Current lineup of the ensemble is—Pranto (vocal), Tuhin Pandit (bassist), Sohag Chakroborty (drummer), Abbasi Linkon (guitarist).
