RMG factory ‘Snowtex’ win Green Factory Award 2020

Snowtex Outwear Limited have been honoured with the Green Factory Award in recognition of their efforts and contribution to saving the environment and creating employment.

RMG factory Snowtex won the award in the garment sector which was given by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, a press release said on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined the award giving ceremony virtually as the chief guest.

State Minister for Labour and Employment Begum Monnujan Sufian, on behalf of the Prime Minister, handed over the award to representatives of the winner at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka.

The Ministry of Labour and Employment of the government of People’s Republic of Bangladesh gave the ‘Green Factory Award’ to 30 organizations from 6 sectors. Among them, 15 were readymade garment (RMG) factories.
