Another phase of the online admission process for Class XI (session 2020-2021) has begun today (Sunday), which will continue until September 17.

Students are advised to visit: www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd for information about the admission procedure.

The government launched the first phase of the admission process for Class XI on August 9 which continued until August 20, amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Sources from Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee said classes for the newly admitted XI students will begin online on the first week of October. Students will go to the classroom once the educational institutions are reopened.

As many as 14 lakh students who passed this year’s SSC examination have applied for admission in colleges.

On March 16, the government closed all educational institutions to curb the spread of coronavirus. No classes have been held since that day at school and college.

Earlier on June 15, the government extended the closure of all the educational institutions of the country until August 6 considering the worsening coronavirus situation.
